Kingston

Site History

A Better Future is in Store

The Kingston property and surrounding area was previously approved for a rock mine – a land use that would further degrade the property. The decimated farmland has been home to a sod farm, cattle pasture and citrus fields destroyed by hurricanes. Currently, portions of the property are overgrown with invasive, exotic vegetation. The land contains 67 farming irrigation wells, farming machinery (including corroded fuel tanks and equipment that are no longer operable) and farm-related structures in various stages of degradation.
